ZEMAN AM DESCRIPTION
Special all leather boots with protection against anti- personnel contact mines with protection against a mass of HE (high explosion) 30 gms for AM.L, 35 gms for AM.35 and 50 gms for AM.50.
The boots have been developed in co-operation with a leading Czech expert in ballistic protection.
The boots can be provided with Drilex / Windtex lining also which ensures 100% waterproofness while keeping wearing comfort and permeability for water vapours out from the boot.
The boots are characterised by a robust and resistant design with long-term service life and do not contain any metallic parts.
And that all achieved with the total weight AM.L/ AM.35 max 3,000 gas, AM.50 3,200 gms.
The boots are protected by patent.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
The Mine resistant (Blast Protective) boots model ZEMAN AM (anti-mine) offers a synergistic multilevel protection:
1ST LEVEL – INTELLIGENT, MULTI-LAYER ARMOURED SOLE
The sole contains special multi-layer intelligent construction. When overpressure (energy of explosion) arrives to the sole:
- Part of the energy is reflected back from armour
- Part of energy is consumed by programmed destruction of high tenacity layers
- Only small part of energy go through our multi-layer armour and reach the inner armour
- Maximum pressure coming thru multi layer sole is typically less than 1% of blast energy (testing charge 30 gms for AM.L, 35 gms for AM.35 and 50 gms for AM.50 of TNT is used)
2ND LEVEL – INNER ARMOURED TENSION INTELLIGENT INSOLE
Special construction of tension sole system:
- Inside the boots you will find a special multi-layer sole which, thanks to several armoured layers, minimises the effect of overpressure to human body
3RD LEVEL – ANTI-PERFORATION PROTECTION
Special construction of intelligent sole ensures:
- Protection against fragment perforation 2,5 times more than requirements of EU standards for protective boots, while preserving sufficient flexibility

ZEMAN AM BOOTS
BLAST PRESSURE WAVE PROTECTION
ZEMAN® AM boots are engineered to provide advanced protection against the effects of anti-personnel mine explosions.
The specialized multilayer construction and energy-absorbing components ensure:
- Minimum 99% absorption of the pressure wave generated by the explosion.
- The residual pressure acting on the leg is less than 1% of the original blast pressure.
- Designed for threats issued by high-explosive (HE) materials, measured in grams.
Model classification by explosive threat level:
- AM-L – protection against anti-personnel mines with HE load up to 35 g
- AM-35 – protection against HE loads above 35 g and up to 50 g
- AM-50 – protection against HE loads above 50 g (tested up to 56 g)
This level of protection significantly reduces the risk of traumatic injuries caused by mine detonations, particularly from the shockwave effect. ZEMAN AM boots are ideal for military personnel, EOD specialists, humanitarian demining teams, and other high-risk environments.

GENERAL CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To enable water to bead up and to guarantee protection from dirt, regular reproofing is recommended.
Please avoid oily creams which could contaminate the outer layer and reduce breathability.
- Use the shoes only for the purpose they are assigned to
- After each use clean them and dry next to indirect source of heat
- The user can replace laces and innersole only
- Treat the shoes with appropriate polish
ATTENTION:
NOTICE FOR USERS: The footwear can be used for the above described purpose only. In case of degradation (wearing through, inadequate thinning of upper, cracked sole, undoing of seams, etc.) the level of protection is decreased and the footwear must be immediately replaced!

PROFI WATERSTOP
- Highly effective impregnating agent for smooth skin, nubuck, velour, textile and synthetic materials.
- Repels water, grease and dust, prevents deep soiling, water and snow stains.

Footwear ZEMAN AM can be supplied together with assortment spare of parts. This assortment is divided into two groups spare part used by user or by manufacturer service:

USER RECOMMENDATION
CONDITION FOR THE USER:
- The recommended temperature range for the use of footwear is -20°C / +50°C
WARRANTY:
- Warranty time is 12 months from date of acceptance of each lot
- Warranty can be extended to 24 months
IN SERVICE LIFE / SHELF LIFE:
- We confirm service life / shelf life 5 years for boots stored correctly in warehouse
CONDITION FOR STORAGE:
- Boot must be stored in original box and cartoon
- Place of storage must be dry, temperature max 35°C
- Boot must be protected against direct light
